Children

Our programs are carefully designed to be age-appropriate and entertaining while teaching our children the foundations of a Christian life. We are committed to following Jesus’ example by welcoming children into our church family. Our schedule encourages students to engage with the Bible, missions, music, discipleship, fellowship, and more. There are also special activities and events throughout the year. Youth

The Rosalind Hills Baptist Church Youth Ministry is comprised of 6th – 12th graders. Our students come from many different schools, providing our group great diversity. The goals of our youth are to love God, love their neighbors, grow spiritually, engage their faith with their community, and have fun along the way. Bible Study

Bible studies aren’t just for Sundays at Rosalind Hills. Our weeknight classes and Sunday morning classes offer an opportunity to participate in small group Bible study with others. Weeknight Classes Men’s Bible Study Sunday night Men’s Bible study gathers at 5 p.m. Women’s Bible Study Tuesday night Women’s Bible study gathers at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Music plays a vital role in the worship and educational life of the Rosalind Hills. We believe that music is one of God’s finest gifts and we strive to use it as effectively as possible. Food Pantry

Hours of Operation: The Food Pantry** obtains most of its food from the Feeding America Southwest Virginia Food Bank. Part of what we receive is USDA food which comes at no charge. Because we receive a large percentage of food through the USDA food program, we must operate by rules and regulations which they have implemented. This involves completing required forms for all clients in order to qualify them for USDA food. We are permitted to serve each client once…

Missions

We believe that mission work is for people of all ages.  There are many opportunities for service at RHBC; serving meals, working with children, volunteering in the church office, going on a mission trip or working in our Food Pantry. Our Missions Council identifies ways our church family can serve the community. Additionally, Sunday school classes, youth and children’s groups often plan small group mission activities and trips. Kids Outdoors Zone

Through outdoor skills and adventures, young boys and teenagers (ages 8-18) not only experience and explore their environment, they also interact with trained mentors who share the love of Jesus and his role as a heavenly father. For many young boys and teenagers in an urban setting, KOZ involvement spurs a needed balance of indoor/outdoor activity.
