Commitment…Time To Carry On!

“Really…?!”

John 21:15-19

 

“He said to him the third time, ‘Simon son of John, do you love me?’ ‘Yes Lord, you know that I love you.’  After this he said to him ‘Follow me.’”

~John 21:17;19b

“Following Christ takes a lot out of a person.  Peter knew this kind of pressure that was required and so do we.  Sometimes we want to look at God and say, “really?!”  But if we really love and know God, we know that in order to follow, God had to go first.  The tracks are there before us, may we be committed to follow.”
