Sermon: Who?!
Commitment…Time To Carry On!
“Who…?”
Philippians 2:1-11
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus…”
~Philippians 2: 3-5
“Who? But I thought it was about me? A common mistake that every Christian has made at some point in their lives. Being committed to others needs may be a new concept for some, but the old adage of ‘better to give than to receive’ really does help soothe the soul.”
Sermon: Really…?!
Commitment…Time To Carry On!
“Really…?!”
John 21:15-19
“He said to him the third time, ‘Simon son of John, do you love me?’ ‘Yes Lord, you know that I love you.’ After this he said to him ‘Follow me.’”
~John 21:17;19b
“Following Christ takes a lot out of a person. Peter knew this kind of pressure that was required and so do we. Sometimes we want to look at God and say, “really?!” But if we really love and know God, we know that in order to follow, God had to go first. The tracks are there before us, may we be committed to follow.”
Sermon: Committed to Our Future
Commitment…Time To Carry On
“Committed to Our Future”
Deuteronomy 31:6; Romans 12:9-13
“…God is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you. Let your love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another in mutual affection…”
~Deuteronomy 31:6b; Romans 12: 9-10a
“How committed are we to our future? God tells us that He has our future mapped out for us. He even goes as far as stating that our futures are full of hope and prosperity. But let us not forget to do our part by staying committed to seeing God’s prophecies fulfilled. He’s with us always, loving us each day.”

Sermon: Letting Go of Grudges
Baggage…It’s Time To Let Go
“Letting Go of Grudges”
Mark 11:20-25
Brad Smith
“How can we be forgiven if we choose not to forgive? Grudges are held every day and sometimes last a lifetime. As our faith in God matures, we realize that Jesus could have held many grudges. Sometimes we wish he did. But, if we let go of a grudge, perhaps we can practice what followers of Jesus are supposed to do…forgive.”
